How many times can I take a test, quiz or do an online woksheet?
This answer varries. For tests, you have 7 calendar (not school) days to take them 3 times each. Once the week or 3 times is up, that's it. If you submit a late work petition I can reopen the test to you at a later date. Quizzes vary, but can usually only be taken one time. Online worksheets count as a classwork grades and can only be taken once. [Top]
To locate notes on a topic, login to the online classroom and find the unit we are on in class. The quickest way to that is to click on "Jump to Current Topic" in the right hand corner. Then scroll down to the section called "Additional Resources for Students" Look under the ""Notes" heading and choose the notes that you want. You will need PowerPoint to view the notes. [Top]
If I was absent, do I still have to turn in a late work petition?
Yes. If you are absent on the day an assignment is due, it is due the day you return to class. If you are absent on the day something is assigned, it is your responsibility to get the assignment on the day you return. According to Fulton County Policy you have one day for everyday absent to complete assignments. So, your 7 day grace period will begin when you return. If you still have not turned in work in the 7 day grace period, you will need to submit a late work petition in order for it to be accepted. Refer to Late work Policy. [Top]
Why do I have to turn in a late work petition anyway?
First of all, you are given more time than reqired to turn in work. You are given a 7 day grace period to turn in work late with no penalty. Grading individual assignments weeks and months late, is added stress and work for me. If you want to recieve credit for work that is late, you should at least be willing to do the work of explaining why it is late and why I should still take it. It is added work for me, it is your fault, therefore it is also added work for you. This is meant to teach you reponsibility and deter you from turning in work late.[Top]
