Having trouble loggin in
to the Online Classroom?
You're not alone.
Tips:
- Do not login under another persons name if you are doing something that
will be graded. In that situation the grade would be assigned to that person
and not to you. If you are simply locating resources, it is okay. But I prefer
that you only log in as yourself.
- Are you unable to login after putting in the wrong information even though
you are putting in the correct information now? If you have failed to login
3 or more times, you will need to close your browser (Internet Explorer or
Netscape) and reopen it in order to continue. This will reset things so that
you can login. If trouble persists, keep reading.
- Make sure you are following this rule for your username/
login: Your username is your first name followed by your last initial. So
if your name was Albert Einstein, your username would be alberte (no spaces
and no capital letter).
- Make sure you are following this rule for passwords:
Your assigned password is 6 digits long and is your birthday. The first two
digits are for the month, the second two are the day and the last two are
the year. So, if your birthday were January 5, 2000. You would enter 01 for
the month, 05 for the day and 00 for the year. The password then would be
010500. Don't forget the zeroes as place holders. Your assigned password will
always have 6 digits. If you entered 1500 for that birthday, you would not
be able to login.
- If you have changed your password and cannot remember
it, you will have to contact me to get me to reset it. Please, if you email
me, inlcude your birthday. That is what I will reset it to. If you choose
to change your password, please make sure you choose something that you can
remember. It can be numbers or letters.
- If you are new to my class, you may not have been entered into the system
yet. Check with me to be sure.
