This lesson is to give a real-world application to the study of Earthquakes by allowing hands-on interaction with data and tools that could be too difficult to acquire or manipulate in a non-virtual setting. In this lesson, students use the ActivBoard to go through the physical process of reading seismographs and using the data to triangulate the epicenter of an Earthquake.
